lost wax process

Introduction of manufacturing process

During the precision casting process (lost wax process), wax is injected first into a metal tooling to make wax patterns having the same shape as the product. These wax patterns are assembled into a tree shape and coated with a ceramic material. Eluting the wax inside makes a ceramic shell mold with a cavity having the same shape as the product. Pouring various metals into this mold for casting enables near-net-shape manufacture of a product with a complicated shape.

Proterial Precisio offers our unique tooling structure and a wide lineup of materials to meet customers' needs in a timely way.
