History of HMP

  Yasugi Works Enoshima Works
1970 Hitachi Metals' precision castings division, predecessor of HMP, entered into a technical tie-up with Precision Metalsmiths, Inc., of theUnited States.  
1976   Yasugi Seimitsu Limited was incorporated as the precision processing department of Hitachi Metals.
1983   A factory for producing paper-cutting blades was newly constructed at the Yasugi Tekko Center.
1988 HMP merged with Hitachi Metals Kyushu Precision Ltd.  
1992 HMP began manufacturing and selling MIM products.  
1995 HMP merged with Hitachi Metals' five subsidiaries to establish HMY, Ltd.
April 2005 Hitachi Metals Precision was spun off from HMY, Ltd.
November 2005 HMP (Thailand) was established.
April 2013 Hitachi Metals (Thailand) Ltd. merged with HMP (Thailand).
